Phoebe Philo’s Epic Return + More Fashion News
Plus, Holt Renfrew collaborates with Brunello Cucinelli.
Phoebe Philo’s new collection sells out almost instantly
Phoebe Philo’s new collection was revealed on October 30, and the fashion world still hasn’t recovered.
For those who haven’t been stalking her career, the designer made her name at Celine, where she was the creative director from 2008 to 2017 and gained a cult-like following for her easy approach to high fashion. Nearly six years later, Phoebe Philo’s eponymous debut collection brought the same energy, as well as an ultra-luxury price tag. As expected, most of the pieces sold out instantly, but there are still a few items you can get your hands on if you act fast.
Holt Renfrew x Brunello Cucinelli is a lesson in quiet luxury
No one does quiet luxury quite like Brunello Cucinelli, and apparently, it runs in the family. Carolina Cucinelli (one of the designer’s daughters) and Joseph Tang, fashion director of Holt Renfrew, have teamed up to design and create an exclusive collection inspired by Carolina’s own wardrobe.
Anchoring the offering in “versatility and timelessness,” the capsule includes chunky cashmere sweaters, shearling jackets, skirts, capes, jeans and more that would look right at home in any fashionable Canadian or Italian city.

Billie Eilish has always been an innovator, and now she’s applying her forward-thinking mentality to fashion with the help of Gucci. The brand’s Horsebit 1955 is the first Gucci bag ever to be crafted in Demetra, an animal-free material that combines quality, softness, and durability.
Eilish can be seen sporting the sustainable and asymmetrical purse in an intimate campaign set to her viral Barbie song “What Was I Made for?” The whole video feels very raw and personal, which feels very fitting given the fact that the bag is made with 75 per cent plant-derived raw materials.
